From the Principal's Desk
My husband and I dreamed of starting a small preschool and aftercare centre. During the uncertainty of COVID-19, we took a leap of faith and signed a lease on a preschool property in the heart of Kuruman.
On 6 July 2020 — the very day preschools were permitted to reopen after lockdown — we opened the doors of Inside Out Kleuterskool. From that small beginning, we grew to over 300 learners across three neighbouring properties.
In July 2023, we expanded further by launching Inside Out Academy — bringing quality independent schooling from Grade R to Grade 6 to Kuruman. We also introduced Inside Out Smart Tutoring for Grades 7–12. The Academy has grown rapidly and today proudly serves 180 learners.
I have completed more than 40 courses over the past six years — because I firmly believe leaders should never stop learning. In 2024, I was appointed as Music Minds SA's Northern Cape Independent Educator. In 2026, I became the franchise owner of Abacus Maths in Kuruman.
The greatest reward is watching learners grow, develop confidence, and reach milestones they never thought possible. At Inside Out Academy, we are committed to excellence — from the inside out.
